What is False Spots?

False Spots is a blog project run by me. My name is Patrik and I currently live in Sweden and I am looking to break into a career in Multimedia and communication. The main subject of this blog is one of my many interests, pro wrestling.

A lot of you would probably think "why does a grown man like wrestling? Isn't it just fake?" Well to each their own but I enjoy it. I am fully aware of its scripted nature but I also enjoy the drama that comes along with the stories, the technical and athletic prowess that the wrestlers showcase in the ring. I don't see it as any different than any other show on TV. With wrestling you just have a bigger platter to chose from. You have the WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor and other American promotions like Dragon Gate USA, Evolve, Combat Zone and many more. You also have wrestling from Mexico (lucha libre) like CMLL and AAA and Japanese wrestling like New Japan and All Japan. It's smorgasbord of entertainment and there is something for everyone if you just look hard enough.

With this blog I plan to discuss some wrestling topics that interest me. Wrestlers, promotions, moves, styles not to mention reviews of shows and events as well as news from the business. There is no particular updating schedule for the time being. Content will be published when it is written basically.

I am by no means a journalist but I am a person with an opinion and hopefully I can deliver some interesting and entertaining content.
